Mrs. Shirley Hood Davis, age 62, of Lanett passed away on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Davis was born on January 6th, 1957 in Langdale, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Hood.

Mrs. Davis was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.

She loved her family and was a huge Auburn fan. War Eagle!

She is survived by her husband, Mike Davis; children, J.B. (Heather) Davis, Kim (Daniel) Bozeman; mother, Betty Hood; siblings, Dewey (Penny) Hood, Peggy (James) Farr; grandchildren, Kelsey and Allie Davis, James, Ryan, and Emmalynn Bozeman; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 14th, 2019 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment following in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Reverend Perry Duffey and the Reverend Jonathan Herston officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00P.M. EDT until 8:00P.M. EDT.

Flowers will be kindly accepted or the family suggest that memorials be made in her name to Chattahoochee Hospice or to the Hopewell United Methodist Church.
