Mr. Earnest K. Brisky

JANUARY 18, 1947 ~ NOVEMBER 18, 2018 (AGE 71)

Mr. Earnest K. Brisky, age 71, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Sunday, November 18th, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

He was born on January 18th, 1947 in Langdale, Alabama to the late Clem Brisky Lillie Mae Sears Brisky. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Vernon Brisky and Charles Brisky.

Mr. Brisky was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church in Valley, Alabama.

Earlier in his career, he worked for the West Point Pepperell Service Center for several years and then went on to work at the Carter Mill. He went on to work and retire from Auburn University.

Away from work and after his retirement, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

He was a lifelong avid University of Alabama football fan.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Brisky; children, Tina Hayes, Alicia (Joseph) Smith, Jeff Brisky, Jennifer (Heath Carroll) Smith; sister, Ruby Nell (Brent) Miller; grandchildren, Ricky Smith, Ariel Knight, Justin Smith, Amber Smith, Zack Smith, Jacob Carroll, Camron Carroll, Lizzy Brisky; great-grandchildren, Connor Smith, Colton Smith, Kayden Knight, and Alex Knight.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21st, 2018 at the Hopewell United Methodist Church at 2:00P.M. EST with interment in the adjoining cemetery. The Reverend Jonathan C. Herston officiating. His family will be receiving friends at their residence Tuesday evening from 6:00P.M. EST until 8:00P.M. EST.
